IS THE TRUEDOUGH MODELLING DOUGH SAFE?

  • TRUEDOUGH modelling dough consists of food ingredients. It is non-toxic, non-irritating. It is not meant to be eaten. TRUEDOUGH modelling dough contains gluten.

  • Ingredients of TRUEDOUGH modelling dough: wheat flour, vegetable oil, carbohydrates, salt, starches, milk protein, emulsifiers, baking powder, food coloring (ponceau 4R, brilliant blue, titanium dioxide, tartrazine), sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate.

 

HOW MUCH WATER DO I NEED FOR TRUEDOUGH KNEADING?

  • For easy measuring of the required amount of water a TRUEDOUGH measuring spoon has been designed. To knead one package of modelling dough, take one measuring spoon of water.

  • To make TRUEDOUGH modelling dough plastic-like and pleasant to touch, please avoid moisture/water penetrating the dry mixture before mixing.

  • If you add water to the dry mixture, normally it gets a colour that is brighter than the original colour of the mixture.

  • TRUEDOUGH modelling dough is easy to stir in the bowl using the spoon for 3-4 minutes. Then you knead the dough by hand.

  • TRUEDOUGH modelling dough contains food colourings. Sometimes by stirring they can slightly colour the bowl and your hands in the colour of the kneaded dough. It can be noticed only by stirring. Further the modelling dough won’t colour your hands and other surfaces.

  • The base of TRUEDOUGH modelling dough is wheat flour, therefore it smells like fresh dough by stirring and kneading.

 

HOW CAN I KEEP TRUEDOUGH MODELLING DOUGH?

  • TRUEDOUGH modelling dough consists of food ingredients, so it is not intended for long-term storage.

  • Use the bowl with lid for the short-term storage of TRUEDOUGH modelling dough.

  • The ready-made TRUEDOUGH modelling dough can be kept in the refrigerator in the bowl covered with lid for 5 days.

  • To make TRUEDOUGH modelling dough plastic-like again after keeping it in the refrigerator, leave it at room temperature to warm. Then knead it by hand.

  • To save the TRUEDOUGH creations, bake them in the oven at +150°С for 15 minutes.

 

WHAT TO DO IF TRUEDOUGH MODELLING DOUGH DRIES UP?

  • If TRUEDOUGH modelling dough gets a little dry, knead it to restore its softness.

  • If you leave TRUEDOUGH modelling dough exposed for more than 60 minutes, it will completely dry up and may crack.
